Alvin J. Brideau, Lt Retired
Alvin Brideau was the seventh child of twelve born to Howard and Alice Brideau on August 20th, 1938 in Tarrytown, NY. He attended St Teresa’s Elementary school in North Tarrytown (Now known as Sleepy Hollow, NY). Upon Graduating NTHS in 1957 he attended Westchester Community College the Mercy College. Following working several different jobs he took the police and firemen’s test passing both and when given a chance to become a police officer with the Ossining Village Department he did so February 9th, 1967. While employed there he served as Vice President of the Ossining Police Association and then became President. He became Sergeant in 1973 and then Lieutenant in 1976. During 2019 he began to write about his experiences as a Police Officer in Ossining, NY and became a victim of a conspiracy within the department.
